Round is putting finance and operations on autopilot: an AI-powered financial OS covering treasury, payments, AP, FX and agents, used by hundreds of businesses and backed by early-stage funds plus scouts from a16z, Sequoia, Accel and Atomico. The seat reports to the CEO and owns how the company actually runs: planning cycles and cadence, internal systems and tooling, onboarding and performance, vendors and budgets, and hiring end to end across sales, engineering and marketing. Explicitly not a chief of staff role: it owns a function and the outcome. FCA-authorised across multiple entities, London Shoreditch, hybrid three days a week, US expansion next.
